Once the documents generated by Basic Engineering are checked and approved, there starts the effective stage of engineering production in which all preliminary outlines are transformed by the respective departments into final, detailed drawings and then issued as "Approved for Construction".

Setal Construções also works with a complete 3-D modelling system, utilizing Intergraph's PDS software, which allows modelling of any type of unit, integrating several modules of area-specific programs, managing interface, automating the main process stages, optimizing construction by means of quick review and developing maintenance plans based on the electronic drawing and database.
